If you want photos of my newborn, I have hundreds. Photos of the progress at the house are more scare, but here are some at least:

Lots to catch you guys up on, but a picture is worth a thousand words and I've already said that and more in the narrative, so:
August 20, 2016
Miscellaneous happenings including: worrying over paint colors to no avail (yet), termite and spider protection (praise!), Sheetrock work downstairs, spatial concepts in the kitchen, front door window design and cleaning up some of those old light fixtures we are determined to save. Also, we've got a pretty cute little helper on our hands! :)

It's hard to see progress, but we've been knocking out nitty-gritty details like electrical and plumbing work over the last several weeks. Plus a few exterior upgrades and a lot of yard work.
July 13, 2016
Lots of plotting and planning happening over the last few days! Also got things really good and gutted, especially in the master bath.

A few week's worth of work really does wonders for an old house! Demo is almost finished and we are getting ready to put this baby back together one step at a time.

Inch by inch this place is getting worse before it gets better!!
June 19, 2016
Progress is being made! The carpenters were here all last week and got all new Hardie siding on the dormers and new wood and trim around the windows. Michael pulled off more wallpaper and de-carpeted the stairs which are (thankfully) in great shape!
It's a Family Affair - June 16, 2016
Because we realized there was quite a bit more work than we originally thought, we (and by we I mean Michael and his amazing family - especially his grandad, grandma and dad) have been doing as much work as possible in the last few weeks to get the house ready for remodeling. The more work we put in = more money saved so our goal is to accomplish as much as possible until we get to a point where we can't do it ourselves any longer.
Take a look at the 1965 Studebaker that came out of the backyard. Literally, I didn't know it was there because it was so overgrown. Ah! We were lucky my super talented brother was home during this fun time to get some professional photos for us while we gave all of our family the official tour. I think my mom is really scared for us now. At least someone has sense in this crazy adventure!

It's officially ours! June 7, 2016
The house is officially ours and nobody lives there any longer. Mind you, the moving company is coming in one week to move all of Mr. E's belongings so some of the leftovers are still around. But, time to get started!
Goodbye First Home - March 25, 2016
It was a bitter-sweet day saying goodbye to our home of almost 8 years. On to new adventures!
First Look - February 4, 2016
We saw potential. What do you see? Crazy?
