Who We Are
Michael: husband and Daddy extraordinaire. A man good at all things (seriously) who is best at loving his girls. Michael has many hobbies including an array of sports and invests a lot of his spare time in mission work in Baja, Mexico. He is patient and kind with a true servant's heart and the leader of the Oliver family.
Andrea: the author of the blog and proud mommy and wife. Andrea excels when she's being creative and enjoys putting time and energy into her family, church and job. She is a hopeless musical theater junky, loves to read and enjoys traveling and adventures with her family and friends. Alice: 2 year old with a personality and heart the size of Alabama itself. Funny and interesting, Alice is brave, intelligent and discerning - letting nothing get by her without notice. She loves to laugh and read and looks just like her daddy. Alice is loved by all who know her, especially her grandparents who dote on her constantly. Eleanor: Baby girl #2 who just joined us at the end of November. Eleanor is such a sweet, sweet little girl and folks say she looks like her mommy! It's easy to make her smile and she already adores her big sister who includes her in all her "adventures." She's stolen hearts already and is a go-with-the-flow baby for which everyone is thankful. Bo and Luna: 12 and 4 year old yellow Labradors (respectively) who have not yet been told they aren't human. Really excited about their new backyard! Eliza: 6 year old cat who is Alice's favorite and does her own thing - as cats do. Currently living with Andrea's parents because cats don't do three moves. |
Our Journey
We are on a journey together to take one dilapidated home built in the late 1970's and restore it to it's former glory.
When we tell people we bought the house, we literally get hugs or high-fives. Looks like people have been waiting for this house to have a Renaissance for quite some time. No pressure, right? Not in it alone, we've contracted with Walker & White Builders to help us make this vision a reality and are taking it all one step at a time. |
